Known city-eater, Nom Nom, visited NYC this week to eat some local delicacies (from bagels to the Statue of Liberty), ride the subway, and hack the Workman Publishing blog.

Since early this morning, Papertoy Monsters have been spotted all across the nation, posing for pictures at our country’s most well-known landmarks. The Empire State Building and the Capitol were just the beginning. Do not panic if you see one; they are not an immediate threat to your well-being. We do, however, recommend exercising caution should you be approached by one asking to take its photograph. They are, after all, monsters.

They have already been spotted at Geek Dad and BoingBoing.
You never know where they’ll pop up next…

“Papertoy Monsters, a fun cardboard creature making book,” said the lovely people at Boing Boing. (We couldn’t agree more…but we’re admittedly biased…)
